Camera Fun!

As mentioned in the previous post, Mommy loved Jen's camera so much that she now has a fancy camera too. Oh my....as if she didn't take enough pictures already! ;-)
I am really enjoying those crackers.....do you think I can shove the whole thing in my mouth? I sure was trying. On Friday the 13th (I should have known it was a bad day) Mommy had to leave work to come pick me up from daycare. I was running a fever. We seem to think that it was due to teething, but we aren't quite sure. Here is my pacifier that took my temperature:

I am not crawling yet but I sure am a scooter. Right now the only direction that I can go is backwards. I tried to scoot all the way under my crib:
I'm still trying to get Sidney to play with me:
This new camera is so quick that Mommy was even able to capture my yawn:
It also has lots of fun settings. Check out the same picture in 3 different ones.

Pictures by Jen

Our wonderful friend and neighbor, Jen, recently got a new fancy camera. I've been one of her models so that she can practice using her new camera. Mommy liked it so much that we now have a new one too. She'll post some of those pictures soon but here are just some of the awesome pictures that Jen took. Thank you!!!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the wonderful moms out there!! Mommy and I enjoyed our day very much (thanks to Daddy!). He took us out to breakfast at Friendly's (that was the first breakfast Mommy ate after I was born and was also the first restaurant that we went to as a family), he also got Mommy a new camera (oh my! I can see the gazillion pictures now! ha ha!), and Mommy and I enjoyed a nice nap this afternoon. Mommy feels so lucky to have me and can't even put into words how much she loves me. I may be a little biased too, but I think that I have the best Mommy in the world! ;-)
Here are some pictures from our "Mother's Day Photo Shoot":

7 Months Old (yesterday)

I turned 7 months old yesterday! Sorry about the delay in the blog post....I once again decided that I didn't really want to stay in my crib (even though I went to bed around 8:00). I was then up every hour or so until 11:00 and then I won the bed battle and Mommy and I went to the guest room. I'm a little spoiled at the moment. ;-)

Current likes: Sidney (I try to grab her tail all of the time and play with her....she's not too sure about it yet), eating, playing in the exersaucer, grabbing any toy that I can, going for walks, and snuggling with Mommy in the guest bed. He! He! Current dislikes: my crib and bedtime in general and bath time. New foods: Not too many since my last update. Apples and Blackberries, Oatmeal with cinnamon, Rice cereal with mangos, and I ate my first cracker (Ritz) In other news: I am starting to scoot backwards when I am on my stomach (crawling is right around the corner) and tooth #3 is poking through (on the top).

It's getting harder to capture the monthly pictures because I am way to interested in the paper to sit still for a picture. Here is our attempt: As mentioned above, bath time is a current dislike. It has been for a while now. Mommy got out my fun bath tub from Aunt Mica and Uncle Dave. It blows up and even quacks. Should have been lots of fun, right?

Here I am still okay. This was right before my bath:

Oh my! This is my "bath time face". Yes, I cry the entire time until Mommy takes me out.

Here I am with my friend Sidney. Like I said, she is still a little hesitent to come close and play.

My hair is getting longer and I still have my baby blues.

Oh yeah....not only am I a princess (see previous post) but I am also a rock star! The sunglasses are a little big on me but they were only a dollar. Therefore, Mommy had to buy them. :-)

Here is some video fun. The first one is of me playing with my cube from Aunt Michelle. It talks (in German) and plays songs. I was very interested in it and got a little bit excited...maybe a little too excited because I lost my balance. Oops! The second video is of me enjoying my first cracker. Yum! Yum!

Future NASCAR Fan?

Yesterday we went to the NASCAR Hall of Fame. They were celebrating educators and had free admission for them. Well luckily for us, Mommy and Daddy are both teachers! :-) Courtney went with us and we met Otto and Michele there too. It was neat to see all of the cars and everything was very interactive. I wasn't able to do much but I watched Daddy pretend to race a nascar.

Here I am just hanging out and playing with my toes: A family picture at the Hall of Fame:

Mommy and I tested out what a Nascar seat was like. It was very comfortable but also very low!:

I don't remember who this guy was. His lap wasn't too comfortable. ;-)

Courtney, Mommy and I with more famous Nascar drivers:

When we got home, Mommy was doing some cleaning in my room. I got this awesome bathrobe and slippers set from the Morris' when we were home for Spring break. Thank you!! We had to test them out:

Check out those slippers:

Happy Royal Wedding Day

Since today was the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate, we got into the spirit of it. Mommy bought me a tiara for the occasion. :-) Here are some pictures of me wearing it. I must have really liked it because I didn't even try to take it off!
This is my paparazzi face...another picture while I am playing?
Looking serious:

Ok...ok...I'll give you a smile (I do love my tiara)!:

Hmmm...I could get used to this princess thing. ;-)
