Just cruisin' along

Today was a beautiful day! Mama decided that we needed to play outside for a little bit so as soon as we got home, we had some fun outside. First, I went cruisin' on my quad from Gammy and Pappy. I now know how to push the little red button to make it go...
Then I enjoyed taking "baby" for a stroll. I sure was cruisin' along....I must get my fast tempo walk from my Oma! ;-)
"Baby" is now part of my vocabulary. :)

C is for Cookie!

Today Mama decided to make Chocolate Chip cookies after school. One word: YUMMY!
She took some videos of me eating my cookie. That is one food I will NOT share. Enjoy!
Of course, a blog would not be complete without some pictures:
The other day I decied that my big box of diapers was fun to
climb on. I got up there all by myself!
Yesterday, Mama and Dada decided to try to the chicken bites from McDonald's. Mama also decided to treat herself to a milkshake. Well she let me try it and I DID NOT want to give it back. What can I say, I have a sweet tooth. :-)
Mmmmm....I'm lovin' it!

Treats for Sidney

I know exactly where Mama and Dada keep Sidney's dog treats. When they forget to close the pantry door, I go straight to it and give my Sidney some treats. Today Mama captured this on video. I would have kept on going back over and over again but Mama put a stop to it. Enjoy!

Gammy & Pappy

On Thursday we got company again! Gammy, Pappy, and their dog Lexie came to visit for the weekend. Uncle Dave was also here (Dada and Uncle Dave went to a Nascar Convention). We had lots of fun playing and snuggling. Here are some pictures from the weekend:
Hanging out with Pappy while I check out my new book.
It's a princess book that has a small keyboard attached
to it. Gammy & Pappy got it for me.
On Friday, we went to the Flying Saucer for dinner.

I liked playing with Pappy's wallet!
Uncle Dave brought Dada the new I-Pad. Let me just tell you.....playing my "Color Dots" game on the I-Pad is soooooo much cooler than playing it on the I-Touch. The dots are ginormous!!!
Oooh! So fascinating!
This morning (while Dada and Uncle Dave were at the Nascar Convention), Pappy, Gammy, Mama and I went to Shuffletown Diner for breakfast. I enjoyed some toast with grape jelly, pancakes, French toast, bacon, and some of Pappy's grits. Yum! Yum!
Pappy, Gammy and me.

Gammy and me.
We also went to Concord Mills mall today to do some shopping. I got an adorable outfit with matching shoes and a hat (pictures will be posted soon). I also got new sparkly purple shoes and sparkly purple sunglasses.
Pappy and I take a break at the mall.
You'll notice that I got a new "cupcake kitchen" from Gammy and Pappy. It came with four cupcakes, sprinkles, a pot, silverware, and plates. It is so much fun to play with!
I cooked up a yummy meal.

"Here, Uncle Dave, would you like to try a cupcake?"
Here I am testing out my new sparkly sunglasses:
Being silly

Rock star!!!
I LOVE Lexie. She is so calm and sweet and lets me play with her and pet her. I love giving Sidney dog treats so I of course had to give Lexie some too.
"Here you go, Lexie, a treat just for you!"
Thanks for comring to visit. I had a great time and can't wait until you come back to visit again. Love you lots!

Kai and I

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to our company. It was very sad, but at least we got to spend a couple of days together. Of course, Mama took this opportunity to take lots of pictures (184 to be exact!!! Check them out on my babyharbin.shutterfly website). Here are some more of Kai and I:
Kai and I
Yes, you can definitely tell that we are related. The next two pictures prove it. No captions needed.
 Hee! Hee!:

Bathtime with Kai was fun. We loved playing with all of my bath toys.

So happy to have a friend in the tub!

I let Kai use my frog towel. Doesn't he look so cute?!? :-)

Kisses from Kai! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!
We both look rather mischevievous in the next picture. Ha! Ha!:
I loved snuggle time with Aunt Michelle (well, everyone really. I liked hanging out with Uncle Guenni and Gretel and I snuggled in my rocking chair for a good hour and a half the one day. I didn't want to lay down in my crib. Who would when there is someone to snuggle with?!?)
We tried getting some nice pictures of Aunt Michelle, Kai, Mama and me. I wasn't really cooperating...
...using my scanner from my shopping cart as a phone was much more fun.
"Hello? Anybody there?"
 Kai cooperated...
Our best shot. Apparently I was having a great conversation on my "phone":

Here are some videoes that Mama took of Kai and I:
#1 Walking around the house with the baby strollers (Kai tried to sit down in mine. Ha ha!):
#2 - Baby Wrestling round-2 (remember the post from Aunt Michelle and Uncle Guenni's wedding? This was round 2. I must have enjoyed Kai sitting on me because I didn't really fight back. Hee! Hee!)
#3 - This one is just me, but it was taken just for you, Kai! This is in case you miss my toys and the songs that they play. You can listen and dance, even when you are back in Germany. Love and miss you lots! (You too Aunt Michelle, Uncle Guenni, and Omi Gretel)

Happy Birthday, Mama!

Happy Happy Birthday, Mama! She turned the big 3-0 today! The day began with a delicious breakfast made by Aunt Michelle. Strawberries, grapes, croissants, cinnamon rolls, eggs, and bacon. Yum! Yum! I tried scrambled eggs for the first time today and didn't like them...just like Mama and Dada. I really liked the grapes though!
Here we are enjoying breakfast.

Smooches from Mama!
Mama opened up her birthday present from Oma and Opa. Kai and I were ready to help...
Later on in the day we watched a German cartoon on the computer.
Aunt Michelle and Uncle Guenni took us out to dinner at Outback Steakhouse. (I of course loved the bread again!)
Here we are before heading out to dinner.

The Harbin's
After dinner we came home and had cupcakes and ice cream. I ate some of my cupcake and then made a mess with lots of crumbs. I did really enjoy the ice cream though.
Mama, Kai, and me!

Mama's cupcake tower that Aunt Michelle made.

Another family picture.
Mama captured this photo of me right before bed time. I still love walking around and around and around the house with my stroller.
I hope you had a Happy Birthday, Mama! I love you so very much!!!

Fun with Company!

Yay! Our company from Germany arrived on Thursday and we have had a fantastic time so far! On Friday, I stayed home with Aunt Michelle, Uncle Guenni, Kai, and Gretel. I was a very good girl and enjoyed spending the day with them. I love having our company here and I especially love playing with Kai!!
Aunt Michelle and Uncle Guenni brought me a stroller
from Germany. Now I have two, which is great because
Kai and I don't have to fight over it. Hee! Hee!

Kai has been enjoying playing with all of my toys and I like
to share them...well, most of the time. ;-)
Today we went to Jetton Park in Cornelius. It's our tradition when company comes. It was a chilly day but we enjoyed walking around, looking at the lake, and playing on the playground.
Enjoying a walk around the park.

Uncle Guenni and Kai take a look at the beautiful view!

I love my Aunt Michelle.

Kai and I

We liked playing in the sand.

Aunt Michelle had some German rolls in the diaper bag.
We all know that I love German bread! YUM! YUM!

Gretel, Uncle Guenni, and Kai

Weeeee...testing out the slide with Uncle Guenni!

Aunt Michelle does "double duty" as we enjoy some
milk  before bedtime.
Stay tuned for more pictures.....we know Mama will be taking tons!
