Tea for Two

On the Saturday after the wedding Mama, Dada, and I went to visit the Morris family so that we could celebrate my friend Charlie's birthday. Mary planned some awesome activities for us. There were dress up clothes (I decided to be Tinkerbell) and she had sugar cookies for us to decorate with different colored frosting and lots of sprinkles. My favorite sprinkles were the pearl ones....they made the cookies very crunchy! Here are some pictures from our day.......

Dean and Michele's Wedding

We came back from Germany last Thursday and then we went to Dean and Michele's wedding on Friday. It was a beautiful wedding and it was nice to see all of our family. We finally got to meet Zachariah and we were instantly best buds.....we even pushed our high chairs together to eat dinner. Here are some pictures from the wedding....
Dean and Michele exchanging
their vows.

Oma, Opa, and me.

I slept through the entire wedding ceremony.
I'll blame it on jet lag. ;-)

We had some time between the wedding
and the reception so we went and
saw some art and the Museum of
Natural History.

Enjoying some veggies and crackers with Oma.

A group picture with Eileen, Mama, Judi, Steve and Paulette.

Enjoying my milk.

Dinner time with Zachariah.

Dylon is so funny!

The happy couple.

Phew! That was an exhausting day! Good thing that Mama
thought to pack some PJs so that I could fall asleep and
snuggle with Opa.
What a fun day! Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness, Dean and Michele!

Mama's due with baby #2!

As many of you already know, I am going to be a big sister! Mama is due on January 2nd, which could make for a very interesting holiday season. We could have a Christmas baby, a baby born on Opa Richard's 80th birthday (December 28th), a New Year's Eve baby and anything in between!

I am going to have to learn to share this blog. Mama has decided to follow in Aunt Michelle's footsteps and answer weekly questions during this pregnancy. Here is the first questionnaire and belly picture.

How far along: 14 weeks
Total Weight gain: According to our scale....7 lbs.
Maternity clothes:  Some yes, some no. I just got a ton from Michele and Megan so that should last me through this whole pregnancy. Thanks!
Stretch marks: Unfortunately there are some "left over" ones from Ayla around the belly button.
Sleep: Great! I've been napping with Ayla everyday too! :-)
Best moment in the last week:  Seeing how happy Ayla was to see her Daddy again after being in Germany for 10 days.
Movement:  Not yet!
Gender: Right now I am thinking....girl. We have our ultrasound scheduled for August 9th.
Ayla's current sibling wish: Baby sister
Ayla's current name choice when asked "What should we name the baby?": Six
Food Cravings:  Lots of chocolate, but that could also be due to the fact that our fridge is full of chocolate that I brought home from Germany.
Belly Button in or out:  In
What I miss: I'm not going to lie, I miss a nice cold beer, especially now in the summer time.
What I am looking forward to: My next doctor's appointment on July 11th when I get to hear the heartbeat again.
Weekly Wisdom: I've got nothing right now. :-)
Milestones: I'm in my second trimester now!
Baby Brain Moment of the Week: Surprisingly, no!
Labor Signs: Hopefully not until the end of December!
Weekly Belly Pictures:
14 weeks

Ayla wanted in on the picture fun too. Note that she
is holding her belly too.

Cheese!
Check back weekly for "belly pictures" and of course more blogs from Ayla.

Oma Waltraud's Birthday

The blogging continues! Here are some pictures from Oma Waltraud's birthday. She turned 75! I'm also including the family pictures that we took......
The great grandkids gave Oma Waltraud one rose each.

We tried to all get a picture taken with Oma Waltraud.

Don't I look cute in my braids that Katrin did?

Mmm! Mmm! I loved all of the  yummy snacks!

Hanging out with the family!

Opa Richard and Oma Waltraud with all of their great
grandkids and their Mamas.

The great grandkids.

Having fun with Kai.

A family picture....not too bad considering none of us kids
wanted to get our picture taken.
Here are a few videos that Mama took while we were in Germany. Oma has a really cute one of me singing Happy Birthday to Oma Waltraud but for some reason it won't download.

Germany - Cousin Fun!

Gosh! There are so many pictures to sort through! Mama has her own pictures on two memory sticks and then she also has her cousin's pictures and Oma's pictures. Here are just some random ones of me having fun with my cousins (first and second).

Oma captured this video of Kai and I being silly and giving Opa Richard lots of kisses.

That's all for now but there are more to follow!
