Goodbye 2010!!!

Goodbye 2010! What a great year you were! Mommy and Daddy received the best present ever this year....ME!!! :-) We also welcomed Kai, Mallory, Jana, and Zachariah into our family. The baby fun doesn't stop there though because I have lots of friends that were born this year, two of which I got to spend New Year's Eve with. We went up to Statesville to visit Andy, Lindsey, and Aubrey. We also got to see Joe, Anita, Steve, and Sophie. Here are some pictures from our evening.

Carolina Christmas

Today Mommy, Daddy and I started another Christmas tradition. We drove out to the Charlotte Motor Speedway where they had a light show set to music. Daddy got to drive our car on the infield of the track and on some parts of the actual track. There was also a live nativity scene, petting zoo, ice skating rink, and pony rides. I slept through the entire thing but will be able to enjoy these activities more next year. :-) Here are some pictures of our night:

Since we were at the speedway, Mommy took my picture in front of a race car. You can barely see me because she had me so bundled up......two blankets and my hat from the hospital (which is pretty snug now!) It was very cold.

There were also a lot of Christmas trees set up inside the garage at the speedway.

This is how Mommy found me when we got home. So even if I wanted to see the lights, I couldn't. ;-) It sure didn't bother me though because I really did sleep through the whole thing.

After Mommy fixed my hat:

Daddy and I snuggled for a little bit when we got home. We were out until 8:00 which is my normal bedtime. Since I slept for so long Mommy let me stay up until 9:00. :-)

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! Mommy, Daddy and I had a very nice first Christmas together. I granted Mommy's wish of "All Mommy wants for Christmas is a Silent Night" (the onesie from Aunt Michelle.) I woke up at 6:00, ate, and then went back to sleep until 10:15. Merry Christmas Mommy!! Here are some pictures of our day:

A new tradition. Daddy and I played with the train underneath the tree. He received a Steelers train this year. I was very interested in it and can't wait until I can be the conductor! ;-) Sidney also joined the fun and watched the train with us.

I also received these super fancy socks from Grammy and Pappy. Mommy put them on me and I was so content just kicking my feet. It took a couple of tries to capture this picture because I was so wiggly.

Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas Eve! This was the first year that Mommy and Daddy didn't make the trip back up to Pennsylvania to celebrate Christmas with Oma and Opa and Grammy and Pappy. It was hard not spending the holidays with them but we are also starting our own traditions. It was also too risky driving up in the winter weather and who knows how I would have done on such a long trip. :-) Here are some pictures from our evening:

Oma and Opa got me a little baby doll that sleeps in a pea pod. It's really not THAT big. It just looks like it in this picture. :-)

Grammy and Pappy got me a baby doll too! It has lots of ribbons for me to touch and feel. Here I am with both of my baby dolls.

Snooze

Apparently today was a snoozing kind of day. Mommy put me on my play mat and I was kicking and reaching for the toys one minute and the next minute I was out!!! I slept very nicely until Sidney heard some kids playing outside and started barking and woke me up. :-(

I stayed up for a little while and then went on the couch to hang out with Daddy. He was tired and I was still tired too. This is how Mommy found us.

On a side note: Partying until 12:15 is hard work! I took a 3 1/2 hour nap with Mommy today and I am not a napper! :-)

Update: Another 8:30 to 5:30 night last night! Go me!!! I would probably sleep longer but Mommy has to wake me up to get me ready before she goes to work. :-)

Ugly Christmas Sweater Party

What a busy day! I saw my first snow!

Mommy bundled me up in my hat and blanket to take a picture!

Then it was "Ugly Christmas Sweater Party" time! This is me way past my bedtime fighting sleep. Mommy tried to put me to bed at my regular bed time and I sure wasn't having that. I know the routine. Diaper change....sleep sack...sleep sheep turned on to the ocean sound...nursing...and bed. I used my strong set of lungs and screamed as soon as Mommy tried to feed me, but as soon as she stopped and started walking me back downstairs I stopped crying!! he! he! :-)
