A Crafty Sunday

Today was a craft day! Mommy found lots of good deals at Michael's and has been wanting to try the "Tie Dye" towel activity.
We painted mugs and these cool little lights. Hayden picked
a dinosaur.
I chose a deer.

Painting mugs.

Mommy wrote our names with duct tape on white towels.

Then she put the tie dye solutions into spray bottles.

We had a lot of fun spraying the colors onto our towels.

Ready to take the tape off!

Isn't that so cool?

We used markers to color our dinosaur and deer.

What a fun craft day!

Photo Shoot, Painting Rocks, and Pizza

It’s been a relaxing break and we've been spending a lot of time outside. We had to have a little "photo shoot" with our beautiful bouquet of tulips.
We also painted rocks outside and invited BeBe and Pappy over for homemade pizza. Here are some pictures...
Mommy also took me to Great Clips for a haircut.

Fun with Color Pop again.

We had a lot of fun painting rocks.

Ayla made a volcano.

I made a golden retriever.

Our rock garden.

Pizza time!

This week sure went by fast! We go back to school on Monday!

Spring Break “Staycation” Adventures

We didn’t travel anywhere for break but we’ve have fun checking out some local fun.
First stop: triple c brewing last night
They had a food truck set up outside and nobody complained about dinner!

We brought our sticker books to keep us busy.

My pizza was so good and the little pepperoni reminded me
of the pizza we get at Oma and Opa's.

Hayden loved his burger!

Today we went to a tulip field and picked our own tulips. Mommy's friend posted this on Facebook the other day and she LOVED the idea. It was very pretty and Hayden and I got to pick 6 tulips each.

Lots of good photo ops....

Fun with the Color Pop app.

We ate lunch in Statesville and walked around for a little bit.

Our final stop was Mason’s Sweet Shoppe. We didn't plan the day very well because we picked tulips at 10:00 AM when they opened and Mason's Sweet Shoppe didn't open until 1:00PM. It was well worth the wait though because the milkshakes were HUGE and DELICIOUS! You even get to keep the mason jar glass.
Yup! That's cotton candy and a lollipop on that milkshake.

Daddy's was peanut butter and Mommy got mint.

Sooooo good!

We love our fresh cut tulips at the house.

We had a great day!
