Anniversary Getaway

Usually this blog is all about Hayden and me. Mommy and Daddy deserve to be in the spotlight sometimes too. They celebrated their 12 wedding anniversary today. Yesterday they went to Asheville for a little getaway. Here are some pictures...
First stop....Sierra Nevada Brewery.

They stayed in downtown Asheville and everything was within
walking distance.

Disguise a Turkey Project

I had my first kindergarten homework assignment. We read the book "Turkey Trouble" and had to disguise our own turkey. Mommy and I looked online for some great ideas and I decided that I wanted to disguise my turkey as Santa! Part of the assignment was to write what the turkey would say while wearing his disguise. Here are some pictures of me working on my project...
Cutting out the turkey.

I used LOTS of glue! Hee Hee!

Adding some snow.

Ayla taught me how to make tiny snowflakes.

Concentration!

Statesville Pumpkin Fest

We’ve had this tradition for quite a few years now....we go to the Statesville Pumpkin Fest and then celebrate Andy’s birthday. Hayden and I love hanging out with Aubrey and Maddox. Here are some pictures from last weekend....

The dinosaur was pretending to eat Hayden. Hahaha!

Mommy loves a good photo op!

Pumpkin bowling.

This was carved out of wood.

We had a fun day and love this tradition!

Daddy, Mommy, and I ran The Great Pumpkin Run 5K today. It was super cold but super fun. I set a goal for myself to run the entire time and I did! Here are some pictures from the race today....

Daddy had to carry this pumpkin for his entire race. He completed the
