Back to School 2020 Style

Today we went went back to school for the first time since MARCH 13th! It was definitely different with masks and social distancing but we had a great day. Of course Mommy documented our day with “back to school” pictures. The bulletin board isn’t hers, it belongs to one of the first grade teachers. We couldn’t pass up a photo op though. Here are pictures from today...

Halloween 2020

This year we didn’t have our usual Harbin Halloween party but that didn't stop us from dressing up as a family. We had only had the Ottos and Mehalls over and enjoyed the scavenger hunt that Mommy planned for us (see previous post for lots of pictures of the set up). I LOVED our costumes this year, and I'm sure you can figure out why. Even Pluto got in the spirit and we used his Snoopy costume from a few years ago....we just added spots. Enjoy the pictures...

I saved the dogs from Daddy's net!

Ready for the scavenger hunt.

I read all of the clues by myself!

We finished our scavenger hunt first.

Even though it wasn't our usual Halloween, we had a great evening.

A Halloween Scavenger Hunt

This year we celebrated Halloween a little differently. Due to Covid, we didn't have our usual big Halloween Party and we weren't sure what was happening with Trick-or-Treating. Mommy decided to plan a fun scavenger hunt for us. We did have Aubrey, Maddox, Hudson, and Nina over for a small gathering so she planned a "Girls Scavenger Hunt" and a "Boys Scavenger Hunt".  Here are the pictures from all of the prep work....
We each had our own bucket and individual candy bags,
labeled with our names.

She ordered this from Amazon and then created a
scavenger hunt...14 clues!

If you zoom in, you can see that Daddy helped decorate
the backyard for the scavenger hunt. We moved all of the
decorations outside this year.

All of the boy's clues were on orange cards. **Mommy
searched online for the clues and cannot take full credit. She
did change some wording on a few to personalize it for our
hunt.**

This clue was under the picnic table.

The girls had the purple clues.

Mommy accidentally colored one of our clues orange first.

The next blog includes pictures of the actual scavenger hunt.
