Birthday Weekend Getaway - Day 1

This year our January getaway looked a little different due to Covid. Instead of our usual trip to Gatlinburg, we went to a cabin near Bryson City. It was high up in the mountain (probably the highest cabin we've stayed at) and we had some great views. Mommy took lots of pictures...
Moose Head Lodge
The view from the top of the driveway.

The view from the porch.

The king size bed in the loft.

Hayden and I slept here.

We loved the big windows and the view.

We also loved the hot tub.

Mommy thought that this window in the kitchen was cool.

Birthday selfie with Mommy.

Daddy bought Mommy this bottle of German wine for
her birthday.

Daddy also surprised Mommy with a bundt cake.

It was delicious!

“Snow” Day

Oops! This post is from January 8th. We started the blog but never posted it.
We anxiously waited for snow on Friday, January 8th. Although we didn't get a lot of snow, we saw some huge snowflakes and it was fun while it lasted.

We ordered in for dinner. My slice of pizza was huge!

Hayden enjoyed his spaghetti.

Snowflakes in my hair!

Daddy had picked up some sleds at the store. We at least
got to pull each other around for a little bit.

Kevin!!!!!

When you love the movie Home Alone and Oma is super talented at knitting, you end of up with a "Kevin" hat and scarf. Today Mommy found this Jacket at Old Navy when she went to return something she ordered. She could not pass it up and of course, took some pictures...

Is this toothbrush approved my the American Dental
Association?

The tree in the background was a pure coincidence!

The hat, scarf, and coat will be getting a lot of use.

Hayden is 7

Can you believe that I am seven?! Mommy painted the birthday rock for me yesterday. Daddy drove Ayla and me to school to take some pictures because it rained all day today. Here are lots of pictures of my birthday rock and lots of pictures from today...

I had to get some pictures with Ayla too.

Seven!!!

I came downstairs to these awesome birthday presents this
morning.

I got this cool piggy bank where I have to "feed" the dog.

Mommy took a video....

Daddy picked up donuts for me for breakfast!
Wow! Mommy made this cake for me!

Oops! Mommy missed her picture at 2:56. This is me at 3:01.
I am officially 7!

Selfie with Mommy.

BeBe and Pappy came over for dinner and birthday cake.

I got this super cool dump truck from BeBe and Pappy.
It can carry up to 50 lbs!

Homemade pizza. My birthday dinner wish.

We had to get creative with the candle this year. No blowing
on the cake! Mommy found this chocolate number 7 that
held one candle.

No photo frame this year, but Mommy got these fun photo
props.

Daddy and I matched with our outfits.

All of my new dogs for my dog collection.

The dump truck really can carry up to 50 lbs.!

My birthday celebration was a little different this year due to Covid. We missed seeing Uncle Dave, Aunt Mica, Mallory and Logan. We also missed our New Year's tradition with Aubrey and Maddox.
Despite everything, I had a great day: FaceTime with Oma and Opa, FaceTime with Aunt Michelle, Kai, and Nora, and LOTS of texts and well wishes. Thank you!

Love and miss you all!!
