Spaetzle and Swimming

It wouldn't be an "Oma and Opa Visit" without making Spaetzle noodles! All four us helped and had a delicious lunch. Afterwards we went swimming at our pool for a few hours.
So many cooks in the kitchen! Haha!

Lunch was delicious!

Time for a snack.
Ice pops for everyone!

Aunt Michelle, Kai, and Nora enjoyed seeing the race track and going shopping. I think Kai and Nora especially enjoyed their frozen yogurt treat!
Unfortunately they could not get in to see the actual track.

The "Summer of Cousin Time" Continues

Our "cousin time" continued on Sunday when Opa, Oma, Aunt Michelle, Kai and Nora came to visit for a few days. We enjoyed our time together and kept pretty busy. Day 1 - we ate a delicious pork that Daddy made and enjoyed playing at the house. Day 2 - We went to the White Water Center and enjoyed playing "Just Dance" in the bonus room. Day 3 - We went swimming at our neighborhood pool and then Mommy and Daddy took Aunt Michelle, Kai, and Nora to see the race track. Day 4 - We spent 10 hours at Carowinds!!! There are a ton of pictures so we will have to split them into a few blogs. Enjoy!
Enjoying dinner wtih Kai and Nora.

Kai loved the pork!

I loved showing Kai all of my cars.

Aunt Michelle and me.

We all slept in the bonus room. Kai sleep in
Ayla's room with Aunt Michelle later on.
Here are the pictures from the White Water center. We saw TWO SNAKES! A lady was saving a bunny from a snake and had the bunny in one hand and the snake in the other! Yikes! We also saw a water snake sleeping between the kayaks. Mommy did not take any pictures of the snakes!

Getting ready to go check out the White Water
Center.

We loved watching the rafts on the rapids.

The kid rock climbing wall is always fun!

Do you see us on the bridge?

When I'm big I'm going to climb on this wall!

We all tried climbing the rope.

The snakes like to sleep between those kayaks!

Fun Art Project and Family Pictures

Oma and Opa have the best neighbors! Tabitha brought over a big canvas for each kid. Mama saw a fun idea on Pinterest where you write the name with painter's tape, paint over it, and then peel it off to reveal the name. We had lots of fun painting and it was really cool to see everyone's finished result.
Ready to paint.

Finished products...

We enjoyed dinner at Eat'N'Park and then took some family pictures. The visit was short but fun!
We had to run through the rain....that's why they
are wet.

The kids got to sit at their own table.

Hayden and Opa selfie!
Unfortunately we can't flip the images for
these pictures.

You will have to tilt  your head. Hee! Hee!
