Christmas Day

On Christmas Day I decided to get up before everyone else and go downstairs! I figured since I am a pro and climbing out of my crib, I would go down first to see what Santa brought. Ayla woke up around 7:30 and when Mama came in to check on my she was surprised to see an empty crib. As they started rushing downstairs, I meandered back up the steps. Boy oh boy are Mama and Daddy in big trouble now....there is no stopping me.
Here are some pictures from Christmas Day.....
Checking out my Mickey Mouse ball pit from Santa.

Ayla got her Pet Vet Station and Skye.

Mama captured a rare moment of peace.

We were actually playing nicely together.
It was a Christmas Miracle....HeeHee!

Ayla and Mama dropped of Christmas Cookies at the
local fire station. They started this tradition last year.

Opening more present at BeBe and Pappy's.

We got color wonders markers and coloring books.

I love to color too!

Coloring fun with Nana.

I was a little grouchy. I must have partied too much
on Christmas Eve.

Mama took a pouting selfie. She's such a goof!

Ayla made the cookie tray.

Reading with BeBe.

Ayla's finished cookie tray. Can you tell which kind
are her favorite?
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. Love and miss you all!

Christmas Eve

We had a nice Christmas Eve. First, Mama, BeBe and Pappy and I went to church where I go to preschool. They had a special service just for kids. When we go there every child got to pick a part of the nativity scene and during the service all of the kids went up to the front to make a live nativity. I was an Angel. At the end, everyone got a glow stick (instead of a candle) to make it a "Candle Light Service". Mama was able to get a few pictures.

*A side note story: Hayden learned how to climb out of his crib on this day. Mama put him down for a late nap so that he would be sleeping while we were at church. We decided it was best for Daddy and Hayden to stay home. Hayden had a different agenda on his mind and when BeBe and Pappy came over to take us to church, all of a sudden he was DOWNSTAIRS! He then proceeded to give Daddy a hard time about nap time (since he learned he doesn't have to stay in his crib). He finally fell asleep about 5 minutes before we got home from church.
Do you see me?
Hayden is ready to eat!
Cheese!
Merry Christmas, Nana!
Hayden got the hang of opening presents really quickly.
I did too!
Checking out Hayden's books.
I got Nana a special puzzle.
We worked on it together.
Hayden wanted to help too.
All done!
Isn't that a cool puzzle?
Family picture time.
Mama and Hayden.
Mama and me.
Daddy got me "Chewy".
Hayden kept sneaking cookies.
Enjoying our new books and toys.
Mama only took one video because the storage on her phone was full and she had to keep deleting pictures/videos so that she was able to take more. She cleaned up her phone since, so stay tuned for lots more pictures and videos.

Two Santa Sightings and Lots of Lights

On Monday we decided to head up to the mall to visit Santa. We haven't had much luck with Santa pictures in the past (be sure to check previous posts for some fantastic crying on Santa's lap pictures). However, this year I met Santa at preschool and learned that he's actually a pretty cool guy! I only touched his arm at school but I told Mama and Daddy that I was ready to sit on his lap and tell him what I want for Christmas. This year's wish list is: The Doc McStuffins Pet Vet Station and the "hard" Skye (from Paw Patrol). St. Nikolaus brought me the soft stuffed animal Skye but the one that I want from Santa is plastic and her wings pop out. Here are pictures from our visit at the mall.
Waiting in line.
A picture with the reindeer.
Our first non-crying Santa picture!
We stopped at Best Buy and I had to have
my picture taken with Chewbacca.
Daddy recently introduced me to Star Wars
and I love it!

Later that night we drove to Kannapolis to see their lights. One of Daddy's co-workers told him about this because there is a train that you can ride through the light display. It was really cool!
While waiting for the train, Mama took a picture of it.
We also got to see a juggler.
He was so funny and I loved watching him.
Mama tried taking a selfie with Hayden.
Apparently he was not in the mood! Haha!
This inspired Mama to do a side by side with Daddy. Hahaha!
Hayden wasn't sure what to think of the train ride at first.
I got to sit with Daddy!
Daddy and I took a selfie too!

Some of the lights.

Would you believe that we got to see Santa again?
Mama took two videos. One from the view on the train and another one of me telling Santa what I want for Christmas. You can hear my saying the "hard" Skye and then Santa asking me about all of the other dogs from the show Paw Patrol. Santa sure knows his toys!
