Santa Baby & Babycakes

This morning Mommy decided to dress me in my Santa Baby outfit from Grammy. We discovered that it is getting pretty snug and will most likely not fit on Christmas. What can I say? I'm a growing girl! :-)

While hanging out, the doorbell rang and it was a package for me! Yay! Oma's co-workers had given her lots of nice presents for me and she sent them in the mail. One of these presents was a blanket. It's green (Mommy's favorite color) and has a little "babycake" on it. It is so snuggly!:

Here are also two videos of me. Lately, I have really been enjoying getting my diaper changed. I LOVE to kick my legs when I have that freedom. Another thing I like to do is try to stick my whole hand in my mouth. This was also caught on video by Mommy. :-) Enjoy!

The Flying Saucer & Tattoo Parlor

Today I took my first trip to The Flying Saucer with Mommy, Daddy, and Pappy! I was wide awake and loved staring at Pappy the entire time.

I also visited my first tattoo parlor. Don't worry....I didn't get one! : ) Daddy got a tattoo of an Oak Tree with my name underneath it because my name means "Oak Tree".

Mommy tried uploading this video yesterday, but for some reason it didnt' work. She took this video especially for Aunt Michelle, Kai, and Kathrin because this is one of the songs that my overhead gym plays and it is very catchy!!! Mommy, Aunt Michelle, and Kathrin were constantly singing this song so we thought we would post a video with the song in it in case they get "Charlotte homesick". We miss them very much!!!

Busy Week!

It was a very busy week!!!!

Mommy had to go back to work!!! I think she took it much much harder than I did. She cried in the car on the way to work, she cried when Ingrid brought her coffee, and she cried when someone at work asked her how she was doing. Poor Mommy! She hasn't cried since though because I think she knows that I am perfectly okay with Ms. Angie. She picked me up on Monday and I was perfectly content and have been every day this week. I'm making new friends and get lots of attention.

Here I am after my first day at daycare. Apparently I was tired!!! Mommy got an Edible Arrangements Bouquet from Opa, Oma, Michelle, Kai, and Kathrin because they were thinking about her on her first day back at work. Yummy!!!

I had my two month doctor's appointment. Here are my stats:

Height: 23 in. (75%)

Weight: 11 lbs. 14 oz (75%)

Head circumference: 40 cm

Here I am soooo tired after my 3 shots!I did get really cool Sesame Street band-aides though. I got two shots in one leg and one more in the other. I was so happy at the doctor's and was smiling at Mommy and the nurse, and the next thing I know she pricks me with a needle. After a 2 second delay, I screamed like you wouldn't believe!! It took Mommy a while to calm me down and I definitely wanted to be held and snuggled a lot when I got home.

Guess what though! I slept through the night for the first time.... well basically. I went to bed at 8:00 (my usual time now) and only woke up briefly at 4:10. Mommy stuck the pacifier back in my mouth and turned on my sleep sheep and I fell right back to sleep. She actually had to wake me up at 5:45 so that she could get me ready before she went to work!

Thankful!

We didn't post anything yesterday for Thanksgiving but there is a lot to be thankful for. I know that Mommy and Daddy are very thankful for me and I am thankful for them. I am also thankful that I am a happy, healthy baby....check out the video! I'm wiggling and I even smile at the end!

Christmas Preview

Here is a little Christmas preview. Kai and I got our picture taken with Santa at the mall and we had our own photo shoot at home. I slept through the picture with Santa but Kai was very active and was even tugging on his beard. :-)Daddy, Sidney and me in front of the tree. I do look a lot like my Daddy! Here I am with my fancy hair bowMommy and me! Aunt Michelle bought the onesie that I am wearing.
