Oma and Opa Visit

Oma and Opa were here for a visit recently. We loved our time with them and took LOTS of pictures
We happened to stop by Harris Teeter one day after school and saw the
Oscar Meyer "Wienermobile".

We even got to go inside.

Reading to Opa.

Movie/snuggle time!

Enjoying a walk in the neighborhood with Oma.

I finally got to use my "birthday coupon" from Oma and Opa and
bought a vet kit for my dogs.

We did lots of puzzles and played lots of card games with Oma.

We went to the White Water center and walked the "Lake Loop" trail.

It was very pretty!

Walking makes you hungry! Of course we had to make spaetzle!

Jovie loved hanging out with Opa on the couch.

Opa made his chicken stroganoff to each with the spaetzle.

Reading to Opa again.

We had a little "photo shoot" with Oma and Opa....

Oma made us these pillows while they were visiting.

We always love when they come to visit and miss them lots when they leave!

Home Improvement

A few weeks ago we had our popcorn ceiling removed and the entire downstairs painted. Here are a few during and before/after pictures.
Prepped and ready to go.

The kitchen! It's nice and bright!

We also had the sliding glass door removed and a new door put in.

Before/after picture of the kitchen.

This is a "before" the floors were replaced picture. What a difference!

Another "before" the new floors picture.
We still have to find new curtains and add some pictures/decorations.

Hot Chocolate Run

Mommy, Daddy, and I ran the Hot Chocolate Run in Charlotte a few weeks ago. It was cold but we had a lot of fun. The best part was that we got hot chocolate at the end and lots of  yummy treats!
Our "before the race" picture.

It was cold!

Our treat after the run....hot chocolate and chocolate fondue. Yum!

Another medal for my collection.

Photo op!

Our "after the race" picture.
