Germany Day 1- World Wide Travelers

On August 1st Oma and Opa drove to our house. We celebrated Opa's birthday together.
We were so excited to see them.

Opa's birthday dinner

We helped Opa blow out his birthday candles. Mama only had two car
candles. HeeHee!

On August 2nd we headed to Germany. It was my first international flight. Mama prepared a lot of activities for me for the  plane. I did some but there was just so much to see. I was fussy on the plane a few times, but overall, I was really good. Even though it was an overnight flight, I decided that I would fight sleep. I finally fell asleep after one of the flight attendants gave Mama her personal (brand new) sleep mask to try. She put it on me and I was sleeping in seconds!

Breakfast before our big traveling day.

So excited!!

At the airport ready to go.

Waiting for our first flight.
Hanging out with Opa on the plane.
Ayla and Oma
Checking out what's going on outside.

Phew! That flight was exhausting!

I loved looking out at the workers while waiting for
the plane to leave.

Ayla is a great traveler!

Thank goodness that the plane had personal TVs for
everyone and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse was one of the
options.

Mmm! Ice cream!

Playing with stickers with Oma.

It's a really dark picture but you can kind of see
my sleep mask.

This was when I FINALLY fell asleep.

Phew! Traveling is exhausting!

Mallory's 5th Birthday

This past weekend we went to Maryland to celebrate Mallory's 5th birthday. She doesn't technically turn 5 until next weekend but she had an AWESOME birthday party at The Little Gym on Saturday. Hayden and I both loved using all of the fun equipment and playing the games that they had planned. One of my favorites was definitely the balance beam and Hayden was content running around and trying everything. He sure did try to keep up with the big kids!
Celebrating Mallory
A hug for the birthday girl.
Hayden trying out the balance beam (with help from Pappy)
Fearless!
Look at him go!
Hayden using his muscles. Hee Hee!
Check out that balance!

Waiting for the next game.
Waiting for the bouncy thing to blow up.
Check that out and check out Hayden in the middle of it all!
Fighting the "dragon".
Having fun singing.
Pizza time.
Mmm! Cupcake!
Hayden enjoyed his too!
Phew! Hayden sure was exhausted after that party!
Here are lots of videos from the birthday party....

We tried to get a picture with Nana and all of her great grandkids after the party. This was the best shot. Hahaha!
We did get one with the girls.
Hayden snuck in for a picture with Nana too.
We also tried to take some cousin pictures. It is a hard task to get all of the kids looking and smiling. Here are some of the best pictures that Mama got.
We enjoyed going to the playgrounds in Mallory's neighborhood.
Hayden tried out Logan's hat again.
Cousin love!
The boys enjoyed swinging.
On our ride home this morning we had donuts with chocolate icing. Probably not the best idea to give two kids in a car but sometimes you have to do what you have to do to get through a 6 hour car ride. Haha!
Hayden thoroughly enjoyed his!
Cheese!
Thanks for a fun weekend Uncle Dave, Aunt Mica, Mallory and Logan. We'll see you in October!

First Lost Tooth!!!

This deserves it's very own blog...yesterday I lost my very first tooth!!! I woke up yesterday morning and told Mama that my tooth felt funny. She told me to go brush my teeth. When I got back into the room I told her my tooth was wiggly. She felt it and sure enough it was! Little did she know I was determined to get it out and kept wiggling it until...pop...it landed on my tongue and then I gave it to Mama.
Cheese!
My new toothless smile.
Mama put my tooth in a baggie.
Here's my tooth.
I was so happy about my tooth.
Ironically my cousin Mallory also lost her first tooth yesterday and it was the same one that I lost!!
Of course, I was very excited for the Tooth Fairy to come and she did!
I got a note and she let me keep my first lost tooth. I also got 5 $1 coins.
