Statesville Pumpkin Festival 2013

Yesterday Daddy, Mama and I drove up to Statesville to visit the Mehalls. The Daddy's stayed home and played some football on the Play Station and Mama, Lindsay, Aubrey and I went to the Statesville Pumpkin Festival. We went there last year too but this year I was much braver and sat on a lot of the trucks and even went on the big slide and the bounce house! Mama took lots and lots of pictures. Enjoy!

31 Weeks

How far along: 31 weeks + 3 days
Total Weight gain: According to to the doctor's scale on Tuesday....24 lbs.
Maternity clothes:  Yes, and even some of those pants are getting uncomfortable! Oh my! 
Stretch marks: Still the same ones....still a very itchy belly! Although I bought some Cortizone cream because the doctor recommended trying that. I do, in fact have PUPPS.
Sleep: I'm waking up more and more...I guess it's just preparing me for my future. :)
Best moment in the last week: Hearing baby's heartbeat at my doctor's appointment.
Movement: Moving, moving, moving!
Gender: It's a boy!
Ayla's current sibling wish: Baby sister. Sorry Ayla. :)
Ayla's current name choice when asked "What should we name the baby?": "Baby Six"
Food Cravings: Well, it was just Halloween and our cutie Minnie Mouse received a ton of candy. I'm trying to be good. :)
Belly Button in or out:  It's an outie!
What I miss: Again, the general easiness of doing things. Everything seems to wear me out!
What I am looking forward to: My next doctor's appointment is on November 12th and I have a scheduled ultrasound! When they measured my stomach on Tuesday I measured at 35 weeks when I should have been around 31. The doctor didn't seem too concerned and thinks it just the way he's laying. He laying up high. Take that random strangers who are telling me that I'm carrying so low and that I won't make it to my due date. :-p
The ultrasound will be able to tell the doctor exactly how big baby is and make sure that the due date wasn't miscalculated. I don't think that's going to change because it's been consistent this whole time. I'm pretty excited to "see" the little guy again though!
Weekly Wisdom: I've got nothing right now.
Milestones: Baby weights approximately 4 lbs. and is 19 inches long according to my app. We'll get the exact measurements on the 12th.
Baby Brain Moment of the Week:  I can't remember what baby's heartbeat was on Tuesday. :-( I'm normally so good at that and wanted to record it on the blog. I THINK it was 156.
Labor Signs: Hopefully not until the end of December!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! Mama, Daddy and I went trick-or-treating for about an hour in our neighborhood. We didn't go to too many houses but I got a lot of candy! Everyone kept saying how cute I looked in my Minnie Mouse costume and they liked Mama's costume too! She wore her skeleton outfit again and Daddy wore his shirt. Afterwards we went to BeBe and Pappy's house for a little bit. They had a fire in their fire pit and were sitting outside. Mama let me have one piece of Halloween candy to eat and I chose a Tootsie Pop! It was yummy! I had a great time and really like Halloween! Of course, here are lots of pictures from tonight......

Harbin Halloween 2013

Yesterday we had our Annual Harbin Halloween Party. Daddy, Mama, and I had a family themed costume again. Daddy found this idea on the internet and Mama, Aunt Michelle, and Katrin did a fabulous job making them! Mama drew the skeleton outlines on freezer paper and cut them out with an Exacto knife and Katrin and Michelle ironed on the freezer paper stencils and painted the clothes with fabric paint. I think that they turned out awesome!!! Everyone came dressed up in costume and Mama took lots of pictures....

30 Weeks

How far along: 30 weeks + 3 days
Total Weight gain: According to our scale...24 lbs. total.

Sleep: It's okay. I've taken Benadryl for my itchy belly a few times and that makes me sleepy! :-)
Best moment in the last week: My friend Brittny came to visit this weekend! She's in Atlanta now so she drove up for the weekend and celebrated Harbin Halloween with us.
Movement: He's a mover! I'm seeing the belly move more and more and even my co-workers got a glimpse of it during planning last week.
Gender: It's a boy!
Ayla's current sibling wish: Her wish this week is a baby sister and baby brother. Well, she's getting one of the two! ;-)
Ayla's current name choice when asked "What should we name the baby?": We are back to "Baby Six".
Food Cravings: Nothing in particular but I'm enjoying all of the goodies from Germany!

What I miss: Easy breathing! I just read on one of my apps. that the uterus is about 4 inches above my belly button and that now all of my inner organs are pretty much smooshed everywhere....lungs included. I can feel it! :)
What I am looking forward to: I have a doctor's appointment on Tuesday...that means I get to hear Baby's heartbeat again!
Weekly Wisdom: Everyone has an opinion....take it with a grain of salt. Although that's easier said than done. ;-)
Milestones: This isn't really a milestone but when I put the countdown into perspective it's only about 9 1/2 weeks until my due date! That will be here before I know it!
Baby Brain Moment of the Week:  Again, there have been lots and I can't recall any of them. They happen and I'll even tell Bryan, "Remember this for my baby brain moment of the week." Oh well!
