Baby Wrestling

My Aunt Michelle and Uncle Guenni's wedding was awesome! So awesome in fact, that Kai and I did not want to go to sleep in the pack and play when we were supposed to. This is what we did instead...
Pictures of the wedding and ceremony to follow soon...

Germany Pictures #1

As you can probably imagine, Mommy and Daddy took tons of pictures while we were in Germany this year. Here are just some random ones that she liked that were taken on her small Sony Camera. More pictures to come very soon from the other camera and from the Church Wedding and the beautiful bride!

I taught Kai how to bounce on the bed. :-)

Checking out some yummy German cakes and pastries.

Wedding #1

We traveled to Germany to visit family, of course, but most importantly to see Aunt Michelle get married!! In Germany, you can opt for two weddings. By law, you have to get married in the court house (have a civil ceremony) and then you can choose to have a church wedding as well. Aunt Michelle and Uncle Guenni are doing both. On Friday, July 8th, we attended the civil ceremony. It was a beautiful wedding and we went out to eat afterwards. Here are a few pictures from that day. The church wedding is on Saturday!

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles!

Greetings from Germany!! On Wednesday, July 6th, I took my first international trip!! I was a PERFECT traveler. I'm not going to lie, Mommy and Daddy were very nervous to take me on a plane, especially a 7 1/2 hour long plane ride. Can I just tell you that I did not cry once, yes, you read correctly...I did not cry once. I played and slept and had lots of fun. It wasn't just my first plane ride...I had 3 plane rides. We took the train (well shuttle really) at the Pittsburgh airport and even had to get on a bus to go to our plane in Munich. We flew from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia, Philadelphia to Munich, and Munich to Cologne. Aunt Michelle, Kai and Uncle Guenni (who is "officially my uncle now! Wedding pictures will be posted soon) came to pick us up.
At Grammy and Pappy's before we left.
I am thinking "Oh my! It's going to be a long day!"

9 Months Old

I am 9 months old today...and had a very busy day. Mommy, Daddy, Sidney and I drove up to Pennsylvania today. We are leaving for Germany on Wednesday and are spending some time with Grammy and Pappy before we leave. We will see Oma and Opa on that LONG plane ride and will spend time with them in Germany.

Current likes: crawling (especially trying to get to places where I am not supposed to go...like the kitchen floor!), trying to feed myself, putting anything and everything in my mouth, swimming, chasing Sidney and Crosby (they always run away!) and "Story time" at the library.

Current dislikes: My crib. I have been going to bed on time but waking up at around 11:00 every night just crying and crying and crying.....I also don't like my car seat right now. However, I did a good job on the trip up to PA today so maybe it's not too bad after all. I slept a lot, cried a little and ate lots of Mum Mum crackers (oh yeah, I like those too!)

New foods: I've been eating some table foods such as pancakes, bread, potatoes, and bananas. I will continue to try more and more. Yum!

In other news: I am up to 6 teeth now. Four on the top and two on the bottom.
Here I am on the car ride up today:
Reading...I mean eating my book. ;-)
Playing with Pappy's phone...
...it is so interesting!
Hi Lexi! Yay! A dog who doesn't run away when I try to pet her!
Reading...not eating my book. :-)
9 Months Old Today!
My, how time flies!

9 Months Stats & Ear Infection!

Today I had my "9 Month Check-up". I got lots of compliments at the doctor's office again. :-) Here are my stats: Head: 17 inches (90%) - At least that's what Mommy thinks she remembers. They didn't write that one down.
Weight: 18 lbs. 15 oz. (50%) - I have slimmed down a bit from my previous 75%. ;-)
Length: 29 inches (90%) - We still can't figure out why I am so tall because Mommy and Daddy really aren't.

Now on to the ear infection!! Yes, I have one in my right ear. However, I really didn't show any major symptoms. I have been pulling on my ear here and there, but not very often. Mommy thought it was because I was teething and the jaw line and everything is connected. She felt awful that she didn't catch it, but I forgive her (after all, she is the best Mommy! He! He!). I have to take antibiotics for the next 10 days and then it should be all better.
Here I am before heading to the Doctor's.
This is my new hair style. :-)
After the Doctor's we met the Otto's for lunch. We went to 5 Guys because Friendly's closed down. :-(
Showing off my teeth and being silly in my high chair.

Hi!
After lunch, we went to the Carolina Metro Tradeshow Expo. It was like a big flea market and we walked around and saw lots of cool things. I was sleeping when we got there so Mommy kept me in the car seat. However, when I woke up I wanted to see everything, so she just turned me around.
These lamps were really nice!
(But super pricey)

Checking everything out.

This Doll House was really neat.
Maybe one day I will have one of my own.

Hmm! Let me check...
Yes, I think I have more hair than Daddy!
Checking out my medicine.
It tastes yucky, by the way.
