Splish! Splash!

Splish! Splash! I took my first bath! I have a super fancy bath tub (thanks Megan and Ricky!) that has a little cushion for me to rest on and a shower! As you can see in the first picture, I wasn't quite sure what I thought of the bath at first but once I got used to it, I really enjoyed it!

My first reaction was to cry! I didn't know what to think!

Once I got used to the water, I really enjoyed it. I didn't even mind when Mommy washed my hair.

Click on the video below to see Sidney's reaction to my bath. Apparently she didn't think I was clean enough because she kept trying to lick my hair or she just really liked the smell of the Johnson and Johnson's bedtime bath that we used. :-)

Opa Arrives

Opa had to patiently wait to meet me. He finally got a few days of vacation so that he could come down and snuggle with me. We've had a great first day together!

Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday, October 17th, Mommy, Oma, and I went to Mooresville to meet some friends at Carrigan Farms. Since I was too little to enjoy all of the fun activities like the hayride, we just took the opportunity to have a photo shoot with pumpkins and new friends.
Here I am ready to go in my Halloween outfit from Grammy.

It even had a pumpkin on my bottom. :-)

Oma arrives!

Oma arrived to visit me on Monday, October 11th. Mommy and I ventured out on our own to the airport to pick her up. This was Mommy's first time folding up the stroller and unfolding it again. Uncle Dave gave her a lesson over the weekend! Everything went smoothly except for the fact that Mommy could not find her cell phone to take to the airport. Funny story: She washed it with the sheets! I guess the "Baby Brain" really doesn't go away. Oops! The cell phone does work again. Meeting Oma for the first time at the airport.

Meeting Cousin Mallory

My Uncle Dave, Aunt Mica, and cousin Mallory came to visit me on October 8th too. Mallory was born on July 30th so she is only a little bit older than me. I'm looking forward to lots of fun times with her! Grammy brought along a travel swing for us to test out and Mallory enjoyed using my Bobby Lounger.

We also tested out my crib!

Grammy and Pappy

Grammy and Pappy came to visit me on Friday, October 8th. This was also the day of my first doctor's appointment. Grammy came to the doctor's appointment with us where the doctor told us that I am perfect. :-) I enjoyed a weekend of snuggling with both Grammy and Pappy and even went outside to get some sunshine!

Boppy Lounger

One of the best inventions ever......the Boppy Newborn Lounger. I've spent plenty of time lounging in this thing. Here are only a few of the many pictures that Mommy has taken of me sleeping in it. :-) Sprawled out in my pumpkin outfit.
