Thankful!

We didn't post anything yesterday for Thanksgiving but there is a lot to be thankful for. I know that Mommy and Daddy are very thankful for me and I am thankful for them. I am also thankful that I am a happy, healthy baby....check out the video! I'm wiggling and I even smile at the end!

Christmas Preview

Here is a little Christmas preview. Kai and I got our picture taken with Santa at the mall and we had our own photo shoot at home. I slept through the picture with Santa but Kai was very active and was even tugging on his beard. :-)Daddy, Sidney and me in front of the tree. I do look a lot like my Daddy! Here I am with my fancy hair bowMommy and me! Aunt Michelle bought the onesie that I am wearing. It says "All Mommy wants for Christmas is a silent night" I'm working on it. ;-) Two adorable presents under the tree!
A little smile. :-)

Fun with cousin Kai!

Here are some pictures of me hanging out with my cousin, Kai. We've come to realize that we really don't have that many pictures of the two of us together. It seems like we take turns crying and being happy, but it's a rare occasion that we are both happy at the same time. :-) Our goal today it to take lots of pictures of us together. Stay tuned!!

Hanging out with Kathrin and Kai! Skyping with Oma and Opa. We were both really interested in this!

Kai and I shopping at Birkdale Village.

Here I am in my homemade bonnet from my Uroma (Great Grandmother).

Here is Kai all smiles while shopping!

Here are two vidoes:

There is one of Kai "talking". He is a little bit older than me (5 1/2 months old). Pretty soon I will be able to do that too! Isn't he just so cute?!?! :-)

There is also a video of me taking another bath. Aunt Michelle filled the bathtub all the way to the top so that my ears were even in the water. I really liked it because it was like being back in the womb. :-)

Happy Anniversary

Today Mommy and Daddy celebrated their 3 year wedding anniversary. They went to dinner at the Chima restaurant in Charlotte. This was the first time they went out without me! I was in very good hands with my Aunt Michelle and Kathrin, who by the way is a midwife in Germany. Sidney and Crosby got in on the babysitting action too! :-) Snuggling with Kathrin, Sidney, and Crosby

Mommy and Daddy all dressed up. That doesn't happen too often for Mommy lately. ;-)

Visitors from Germany!!

Yesterday Mommy and I went to the airport to pick up Aunt Michelle, Kai, and their friend Kathrin. They are visiting us for a week and we are looking forward to having lots of fun with them! Welcome to Charlotte!
I finally got to snuggle with my Aunt Michelle.
Both of us fell asleep on the car ride home.

Big Girl Bed & Working Out!

Last night Mommy and Daddy decided that it was time for me to test out my crib. We need to get into some kind of routine. I went to bed around 9:40 and slept until 2:40...not too bad! However, I then decided to stay up until almost 6:00 a.m. Everytime I fell asleep and Mommy put me down again, I woke right back up! :-) She was not very happy with me. :-( Here's to hoping for a better night tonight! Here's my crib and me getting ready to go to sleep. The sleep sack is from my Aunt Michelle. Daddy calls it my wedding dress because it's so big.
It's really soft and keeps me warm.Today Mommy and I went to Target and bought an overhead gym. Although I like my tummy time, this keeps me interested because I lay on my back and can listen to music and look at lots of toys.

Here are two videos of me "working out" in my gym. Enjoy!

Future Edinboro Girls!

Today we went up to Statesville to visit Andy, Lindsey, and Aubrey. We also took a walk so that we could see Joe, Anita, Steve, and Sophie. Mommy and Daddy went to Edinboro with Andy, Lindsey, Joe, and Anita. Ironically Mommy, Anita, and Lindsey were all pregnant at the same time and all of us were born within a week of each other.
Aubrey - Monday, September 27th
Sophie - Thursday, September 30th
Me - Sunday, October 3rd
Here is a picture that was taken on Labor Day.

Bundle Me!

Although we don't live in chilly Pennsylvania, it does get cold here too. Oma bought me this nice "Bundle Me" that attaches right to my car seat. It is so soft and cozy. Mommy has tested it out a couple of times now. Once for a walk and again today. Mommy had her 6 week follow up appointment this morning and it was cold outside! We got to see Dr. Bull today which was neat because she is the doctor who delivered me! :-) Here are the pictures of me bundled up as well as a video at the end! So comfy and cozy on our walk.

Sleeping in the car.
Mommy took a video of me sleeping today. If you turn up the volume you can hear me snoring! I get that from my Daddy. ;-) I am a loud sleeper though and make all sorts of sounds in my sleep.

A Day at the Park!

Today Mommy and I went to Jetton Park to meet up with Lindsey and Aubrey. Aubrey is only 6 days older than me. I am so lucky to have all of these friends that are my age! We walked around the park twice and even took some pictures by the lake. The weather was beautiful and we definitely need to do it again soon! Just hanging out in my stroller. Aubrey and I took turns crying but it's only because we were fighting sleep. :-)

Aubrey, Mommy and me. Mommy said, "I guess this is what it would be like to have twins!" :-)

Not the most flattering picture of me but what do you expect when I was all warm and snuggly in Mommy's arms and then had to go back into my stroller!

Tummy Time!

I am one lucky girl and have two tummy time mats! Thanks to Uncle Dave, Aunt Mica, and Mallory...they gave me the blue mat and the glow worm in the picture with me. Mommy was really excited when we got the glow worm because she used to have those toys when she was little. I was really interested in it because it lights up and plays songs! The pink tummy time mat is from Mommy's friend, Simone.
Checking out the glow worm toy.
Tummy time helps me strengthen my neck muscles. Right now I am still a little bobble head. :-)
The blue mat has a mirror with it. Once I learn how to focus on objects I'll be able to see myself.
